Play@Develop – Raising money for SpecialEffect

Good Catch went to sunny Brighton and the Develop conference to raise money for SpecialEffect! We organised a fun afternoon of drinks and games in partnership with Skillsearch, one of our main recruitment partners and raised over £1000.

SpecialEffect is a charity who put the fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games. By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control they find a way to make people play to the very best of their abilities. An initiative we’re happy to support!

“It was great to be part of this event and see so many people support the work SpecialEffect are doing to help people of all abilities enjoy playing games.” – Anil Mistry, Managing Director, Good Catch

During the event we gave everyone a sneak peek at our upcoming mobile game Mr Bean – Special Delivery. It’s a fun racing game where you need to balance packages on top of Mr Bean’s famous green car. The game will release later this year on iOS and Android.

We brought Black & White Bushido, our arena brawler party game and played on the big screen. The stakes were high, free drinks for the winners, a rematch for the losers.

And finally we revealed our new showreel!
